Submissions

Make a new submission or view your pending submissions.

If you would like to submit an article you may also send an abstract (300 words) with a short biography (250 words) of your paper to info@oboejournal.com. If the proposal meets the interest of the editors you may follow the guidelines and submit the article through our online publishing platform.

OBOE invites authors to submit full-length articles (of maximum 9000 words) for possible publication. The standard length of an academic essay is between 5,000 and 9,000 words, notes and bibliography are included.

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is has been submitted to another journal for consideration.
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format. PDF formats are not accepted.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Style Sheet for Authors ( >Information >For Authors).
